SW for detection and rubbing evaluation in steam turbines

Software for processing, detection and evaluation of rubbing (roto-stator contact) for steam turbines. Software uses original research results obtained within the project FR-TI1/196.

Rubbing detection methods are based on the full-spectra and accumulated full-spectra processing. Method of accumulated full-spectra was developed by the research team just needs of signal processing for automatic detection of rubbing. Set of methods that are used to detect rubbing and its symptoms in the operating signals of steam turbines is implemented in the software. Software is deployed for on-line monitoring of rubbing for the operating steam turbine in power plant.

SW is equipped with user front panel to set trigger levels, parameters of the turbine, calculation parameters and characteristic features for rub detection. Complete visualization of monitored variables allows detection of rub symptoms and automatically archive data sequences containing the contact record.

The software using is specified in project FR-TI1/196.

The software can be provided at the conclusion of license agreements in accordance with § 16 of Act No. 130/2002 Coll.
